Dr. Walker received her B.A. in Psychology from Washington University in 1974, and her Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Missouri in 1979. Prior to coming to Emory, she was Associate Professor at Cornell University. Dr. Walker has been at Emory since 1986.

Dr. Walker is the Director of the Development and Mental Health Research Program which is supported by the National Institute of Mental Health.  For more information about this program, click on the research link below.
