Research Interests: Include the development of self, identity, and autobiographical memory, as well as social processes and individual difference factors that influence these developmental processes

 

Kelly Marin

Research Interests: Social context in which adolescents acquire both narrative content and narrative skills and how such narratives relate to self-development and well-being.

 

Widaad Zaman

Previous Research: Role of mothers’ attachment representation in conversations with their 3 to 5 year old children during the co-construction of attachment-related stories.

Current Research Interests: Mother-child conversations and their influence on child and adolescent development; effects of specific attachment patterns on personal narratives produced within families, as well as the effects of those narratives on the development of attachment representations; relationship between specific types of narratives produced within families and the development of individual and family identity in adolescence.
