Research Assistant Training Program

  • What is the Training Program?

The Emory Infant and Child Lab is dedicated to assisting in the education of those interested in the field of child development. One of the ways we do this is by providing research assistantships for students and volunteers. Emory students may register for course credit for their research efforts by registering for college course Psyc 499R. Current and past research assistants include undergraduate students, as well as individuals who are post-college and post-graduate school. We welcome resumes and applications throughout the year. Please contact Britt for more information.

  • What Can I Expect as a Research Assistant?

As part of your research experience, you can expect to be as fully involved in lab research as you want to be! RAs typically help by recruiting research subjects, assisting with our infant and child studies, coding and entering data, helping with our publications, and participating in lab meetings. In return, we hope to help you in pursuing your individual career goals, especially if you are interested in psychology, child development, or a related field. For more information, email Britt or call us at (404)727-2979.
